Student Life

Library

The Mary Snow library supports the school’s effort to build a culture of readers. Students receive weekly library skills instruction and have many opportunities to explore books that satisfy their interests.

Teachers work collaboratively with the librarian to support instructional themes across the curriculum.  Books carts are often created to support instruction and supply students with non-fiction sources to support research initiatives and build informational skills.

Visual and Performing Arts:

The Mary Snow School provides a wide variety of experiences in the visual and performing arts for all of our students. Every student participates in Art and General Music classes on a daily basis. Mary Snow offers Band, Orchestra, Chorus and Drama for students interested in performing in a large group ensemble setting.  Mary Snow School students perform at school and district-wide concerts during the academic year.  Student art work is displayed at school and city-wide art shows.
